Yukyung graduated from RMIT University with Master of Applied Science (Acupuncture) and Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy)/ Bachelor of Health Science.

Yukyung’s education in pain and movement of the body started at her early age when she started to learn the Korean martial arts – Taekwondo. She was invited to come to Australia to share her passion and knowledge of Taekwondo. Then she realized that there are so many connections between sports and health and this guided her to study Chinese Medicine and Osteopathy.

Yukyung believes in the combination of hands-on treatment and seeing body movement with a holistic approach as the key to bringing optimal results to relieve your complaint. Her priority is always to find the root cause of your symptom and its causing factors, not only focusing on your current symptom.

Yukyung loves teaching Taekwondo while she is not treating patients. She has been doing Taekwondo for more than 25 years and has also been appointed as a coach for the Australian Taekwondo national team since 2016. With her wealth of knowledge in Osteopathy, Chinese Medicine, and sports coaching experience at all levels, she finds out the best treatments and advice for each of her patients.

Yukyung is a registered acupuncturist and Osteopath under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), as well as a member of Australian Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine (AAMCA), and Osteopathy Australia (OA).

Yukyung also accepts patients with Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plans referred to by your G.P.

She is fluent in English and Korean.
