Welcome to "The Space In Between LIVE – A Journey of Transformation and Personal Growth."

We warmly invite you to participate in our complimentary one-hour discussions, starting in April and held every two weeks. The "Space in Between" refers to the space between stimulus and response, where all your visions, dreams, and wisdom patiently wait for you.

The Importance of Vision

It is now more important than ever to pause and condition your mind to think for itself, create your own visions, and shape your unique realities, freeing yourself from negative feedback loops and starting to imagine and create your life as visualised in your mind.

My Journey

I was fortunate to study for 10 years with Professor Wong, my teacher and mentor—a Daoist philosopher, 10th Dan martial artist, and renowned teacher of Traditional Chinese medicine—before he passed. I find it increasingly important to pass on the knowledge of his teachings and the ideas of many great thinkers and philosophers I have studied over the past two decades.

Immersion in Studies

Professor Wong insisted that we immerse ourselves in our studies, making them a part of who we were. He would often say that 85% of our disease comes from our emotions. You need to understand this. These were the most profound 10 years of my life.

We studied the Dao, trained in martial arts and Tai Chi, while treating patients during the day and studying traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture at night. Our studies took place seven days a week: working in the clinic during the week, attending classes in the evenings, practicing martial arts on Fridays and Saturdays, and engaging with the Dao on Sunday mornings while helping make herbs and chatting about everything over a cup of herbal tea. He would always stress that to treat a person, you must understand the mind and how the body moves. Only then can you successfully treat with herbs and acupuncture.

Letting Go of Limits

It is time to rethink the programs that have conditioned and consumed your perceptions and beliefs. It is time to let go of things—be they physical or mental—that are no longer serving you or holding you back. It’s your time to begin with a blank canvas and paint the life of your inner visions, not the ones that have been painted for you.

To understand your mind, body, and spirit, you need to grasp what we are, why we are here, and what your purpose is. Living a life of passion and purpose is the greatest gift you can give not only yourself but all of humanity.

The Challenge of Time

Our limited time with each patient in the clinic cannot bring these three aspects together in your one-hour sessions, no matter how hard we try. To make a significant change in your body, it is important to understand that the mind, body, and spirit need to be one.

Our Gift to You

These sessions are our gift to you, designed to help you identify the barriers holding you back. By embracing these shifts, you will improve the effectiveness of your treatments. The pathways we clear with acupuncture will free the flow of blood and fluids and allow hormones, chemical signals, and nerve impulses to reach their destination more swiftly, enabling your cells to respond more effectively. Meanwhile, herbal medicine will further enhance the healing process by nourishing and fertilising your body's internal landscape.

Our primary challenge in the clinic is to assist you in challenging your perceptions of health. If we do not address the underlying conditions that led your body to this state of dis-ease, we will merely be putting a band-aid on the issue.

A lesson from Lao Zi

As Laozi beautifully explained, "We are not sick because we have a disease but have a disease because our body is sick.” To heal dis-ease in our body, we must balance the mind, body, and spirit.

We invite you to join us as we explore these crucial topics together, addressing feelings, emotions, overwhelm, anxiety, and procrastination. In their place, we aim to cultivate clarity, direction, and a renewed sense of purpose.

The Role of Imagination

Understanding that everything in your life starts with a vision, what you do with that vision is the difference between a happy, fulfilled life and a life that feels like Groundhog Day.

The Potential of Human Imagination

As a human, you have the ability to bring your imagination to life. It is an invaluable gift and a precious tool that allows you to sculpt your visions and shape your destiny, enabling you to continually grow and evolve.

The Fertile Land of Our Bodies

Your body is the fertile land in which you grow your visions and harvest your dreams. You are born an empty vessel, and into this vessel, you pour all your hopes, imaginations, fears, triumphs, and failures. If you do not learn to find meaning in your fears and failures and gratitude in your triumphs and dreams, then your imagination will cease to exist. You will not live in the determination of your imaginations coming to life but rather in the chains of your fears and failures, holding you back, causing your body to slowly erode.

Lessons from Benjamin Franklin

Benjamin Franklin once wrote, "A man lives till 70 but dies at 24." His meaning is that if we do not hold on to our dreams, our spirit dies inside, and we merely work to live instead of live to work.

Cultivating Our Future

In this understanding, you need to grow from the lessons of your past to sculpt and cultivate your future. You are given one body and one mind, and it is crucial to realise that if you do not keep them in harmony and balance, you cannot harvest the rewards of your imagination.

Nurturing Imagination and Dreams

When you are born, you are given fertile land in which to grow your dreams. However, like a seed that germinates into a flower, you must ensure that you plant your thoughts in fertile soil. You need to water, protect, and care for them, allowing your emotions and thoughts to evolve through each stage of growth. For the seed of your imaginations to become the flowering beauty of your visions, you need to let go of the chains of your past so that the seeds of your imaginations and visions can become your reality.

The One-Hour Discussions

The one-hour discussions will centre around your three concepts for health:

Mind

Body

Spirit

Your spirit can only bring forth the fruit of your imagination if your mind and body are in harmony. With this knowledge, you must understand the importance of caring for your mind and body—removing weeds that poison your fertile soil and start to cultivate and sculpt the life you were destined to live. You must challenge your mind and make peace with your past so you can sow the seeds for your future.

A Transformative Thought

In the words of Neville Goddard:

“Change your conception of yourself, and you will automatically change the world in which you live. Do not try to change people; they are only messengers telling you who you are. Revalue yourself, and they will confirm the change.”

Challenging Perceptions

I hope these conversations will challenge your perceptions, beliefs, and your conception of self, awakening the spirit inside you to start living the visions you once had. Life is beautiful if we paint it that way. Together, we will discuss the importance of letting go and removing anything that no longer serves us while gaining a greater appreciation for the roles our bodies and mind play in shaping our dreams. I hope this journey we embark on together will allow us to support one another as we transition to a better way of living.

Join Us on this Journey

Join us as we navigate the beautiful complexities of life. Let’s reflect together, gather our thoughts, and delve deep into our motivations and intentions. This program is a heartfelt offering based on my own life experiences—both challenges and triumphs, and my determination to never give up.
